Terms of use

Version 1.0 · Effective October 27, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Juan Ibarra, an individual domiciled in the state of Aragua, Venezuela, who develops and operates Impulsa ("Impulsa", "we", "us"), and govern your use of the Impulsa app, its website and its services (the "service").

By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms and our Privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

Impulsa is a tool to run a small business: record sales and expenses, including by dictating them; keep your inventory; get weekly reports, insights and notifications about your business; and ask an artificial intelligence assistant how you are doing.

2. Beta version

Impulsa is currently a beta. This means that:

  • It may have errors, change, add or stop offering features, and be unavailable at times, sometimes without prior notice.
  • We offer no guaranteed service levels during the beta.
  • We ask you to tell us what fails and what you would improve, from the app (More → Support) or at support@impulsa.app.

3. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to accept these terms.
  • Impulsa is meant for use in your business or economic activity, not as a consumer for personal purposes.
  • Your account details must be true, and the email address must be yours.
  • An account belongs to one person, and you may not transfer or share it.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password, your email and your phone safe, and for what is done from your account. If you believe someone has accessed it, change your password and write to us at once.

4. Plans, limits and prices

  • During the beta, Impulsa is free. Your account has a plan with limited daily and monthly use of the assistant; when you reach it, the assistant stops answering until the limit renews, and the rest of the app keeps working.
  • If we later offer paid plans, we will announce them at least 30 days in advance and tell you what each plan includes and costs. We will never charge you unless you expressly subscribe.
  • Subscriptions you buy in the app will be charged through the store you downloaded it from (App Store or Google Play), with its payment methods, its renewal and cancellation terms, and its refund policy. You will be able to cancel from your account settings in that store.
  • Prices may or may not include taxes depending on your country; we will say so when offering the plan.

5. The artificial intelligence assistant

  • The assistant's answers, insights and drafts are generated by artificial intelligence models from your data. They may be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Review them before making a decision.
  • The assistant is not accounting, tax, legal or financial advice. For those decisions, consult a professional.
  • What the assistant prepares from what you dictate is a draft: nothing is recorded until you confirm it, and you are responsible for reviewing it.
  • Do not write sensitive data about yourself or others, passwords or bank details to the assistant.

6. Exchange rates and calculations

Impulsa takes the dollar rate from public sources, such as the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV) or Colombia's Representative Market Rate (TRM), and uses it to show you equivalents. Those rates are for reference: they may arrive late or differ from the rate a bank, a supplier or an authority applies. The totals, margins and reports Impulsa computes depend on what you record and are an aid to running your business, not an official calculation.

7. Impulsa is not an accounting or tax system

Impulsa does not issue invoices or tax documents, does not replace the books, fiscal printers or invoicing systems the law requires of you, and does not file returns with any tax authority (such as SENIAT or DIAN). Meeting your accounting, tax and labor obligations is your responsibility. Although we make daily backups, we recommend you keep a separate copy of any information you must retain by law.

8. Your data and your content

  • Your data is yours. You decide what you record, and you can delete your account whenever you want.
  • You give us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to store, process and display your data, only to provide you the service, as the Privacy policy explains. That permission ends when your data is deleted.
  • You are responsible for what you record being correct and for having the right to record it. If you record data about your customers, employees or suppliers, it is up to you to have their authorization.
  • If you send us ideas or feedback to improve Impulsa, we may use them freely, with no obligation to compensate you.

9. Acceptable use

You may not:

  • Use Impulsa for illegal or fraudulent activities or to deceive others.
  • Record or store unlawful content, or third parties' data without their authorization.
  • Try to access other people's accounts, our systems or data that is not yours, or test their security without our written permission.
  • Overload the service, use it in an automated way without our permission, or circumvent your plan's limits.
  • Copy, modify, decompile or reverse engineer the app, except where the law expressly allows it.
  • Use the assistant to produce illegal, harmful or discriminatory content, or content that infringes others' rights.
  • Resell or offer Impulsa to third parties as if it were your own service.

10. Suspension and termination

If you breach these terms or the law, or if your use puts other users or the service at risk, we may limit, suspend or close your account. Unless there is an urgent risk or a legal order prevents it, we will tell you beforehand and why, and you can explain your case at support@impulsa.app.

We may also stop offering the service. If we decide to, we will give you at least 30 days' notice so you can ask us for a copy of your data.

11. Deleting your account

You can delete your account whenever you want from the app (More → Settings → Delete my account) or by writing to us. We close it at once and erase it with all your data after 30 days; if you sign in again before then, you keep it. The details are at Delete your account.

12. Third-party services

Some features depend on third-party services: your phone's speech recognition and notifications, the app stores, and the providers described in the Privacy policy. Their availability and terms are those third parties', and we are not responsible for their failures.

13. Intellectual property

The app, its design, its software, the Impulsa brand and its logos belong to Juan Ibarra or to those who licensed them. We give you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable permission to install and use the app on devices you own or control, while you have an account and comply with these terms. No other license or right is transferred to you.

14. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is" and "as available", especially during the beta. We do not warrant that it will work without interruptions or errors, that its results will be accurate, or that it fits a particular purpose.

15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows:

  • We are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, loss of data or business opportunities, or for decisions you make based on the assistant's answers, the reports, the rates or Impulsa's calculations.
  • Our total liability to you for any claim related to the service will not exceed the greater of: what you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim, or 50 United States dollars.

Nothing in these terms limits liability the law does not allow to be limited, such as liability for fraud or gross negligence.

16. Indemnity

If a third party makes a claim against us over content you recorded or over your use of the service contrary to these terms or the law, you will take care of that claim and the reasonable costs it causes us, to the extent the law allows.

17. Changes

We may change the service and these terms. We will publish the new version on this page with its date and, if the change is significant, we will tell you in the app or by email at least 15 days before it applies. If you keep using the service after that date, you accept the new terms; if you do not agree, you can delete your account.

18. Assignment

We may assign these terms, and with them your account and your data, to a company incorporated to operate Impulsa or to whoever acquires it, which will take on the same obligations to you. We will tell you beforehand. You may not assign these terms without our consent.

19. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of the state of Aragua, Venezuela. Before going to them, we ask you to write to us so we can try to resolve it in good faith within 30 days. If your country's law gives you rights that cannot be waived, or the right to sue in the courts where you live, those rights remain.

20. If you downloaded Impulsa from Apple's App Store

  • These terms are an agreement between you and us, not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). We, and not Apple, are solely responsible for the app and its content.
  • The license to use the app is limited to Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the App Store Terms, except that the app may be accessed by other accounts associated with you through Family Sharing where Apple allows it.
  • We are solely responsible for providing maintenance and support for the app. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to provide them.
  • If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the app, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app.
  • We, and not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the app or your possession and use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection, privacy or similar legislation.
  • In the event of any third-party claim that the app or your possession and use of it infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, we, and not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement and discharge of that claim.
  • You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country that is subject to a United States Government embargo or that has been designated by the United States Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any United States Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the app, such as your wireless data service agreement.
  • Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and, upon your acceptance of them, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
  • Direct any questions, complaints or claims about the app to us, at the contact details at the end.

21. If you downloaded Impulsa from Google Play

Your use of Google Play is also governed by the Google Play Terms of Service. Google is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the app.

22. General

  • These terms, together with the Privacy policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the service.
  • If a clause is held invalid, the others remain in force.
  • Our not enforcing a clause at a given time does not mean we waive it.
  • We will send you notices to your email or in the app; you send yours to support@impulsa.app.
